Charlotte Perriand

Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999) in front of a beautiful blank page, I wish I was still 20 years old. The little lady with the bun has crossed the century undeniably bringing a modernity always seeking to analyze the issues and the evolution of society. From her meeting with Corbusier, Charlotte developed the notion of “the art of living”. His creations exude conviviality and generate a social movement within the home itself. In addition to her passion for the world of art, she transposes it into her interiors with multiple influences. Synthesis of the arts: through her travels and meetings, she was able to offer a synthesis between Japan, the mountains, the artisanal world and modern architecture. Charlotte’s work will remain unique due to its longevity and abundant creativity. Well done Madam! Edward du Masle
