Jacques De Féline
Jacques De Féline (1928 – 1999) was born in Paris on December 23, 1928. Very young, he drew and wanted to study Fine Arts, but it was only once he got married and left for the provinces that he was finally able to exploit his talent as a painter. He arrived in Isère in 1956. His wife was appointed teacher in VASSELIN in October 1958 until 1972. After a brief stint in housing reserved for teachers, the De Féline rented the house of the former AUDOUAL pottery in VASSELIN . Jacques De FELINE held the position of mayor of the village for two terms from 1959 to 1971. He was also the last potter in the village.
