Georges Frydman

Georges Frydman( 1924- 1988) He knew how to combine architecture and design but he also managed to offer highly modern creations. Under the creation, publishing and distribution company that he founded, some very beautiful pieces have seen the light of day. He designed desks, sideboards, chairs and also tables. Biography Georges Frydman was born in France in 1924. He quickly became passionate about interior furnishing after meeting Le Corbusier, an architect and designer whom he admired. In 1954, he founded Équipement Functionnel de l’Habitation which would become the company EFA. He then organized a showroom in Nice dedicated to his company, the journalist André Bloc noticed his work and praised it in his magazine L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui. In 1966, Frydman received the very famous René Gabriel prize, an award which pays tribute to designers of qualitative and economical series furniture lines.
