Dominique Imbert
Dominique Imbert (1940 – 2021) is a literary figure with an atypical career path to say the least: from a stint among the Inuit in Alaska, to washing dishes in an Indian restaurant run by a Greek in Manhattan… He obtained a doctorate in sociology at the Sorbonne but quickly left teaching for a forge and an anvil which fascinated his childhood. The story of Focus fireplaces begins in a medieval village in winter 1967.
